A Few Little Projects Around The House

Project #1: Found the frame with beadboard center at the thrift store for $1.50. It was raw wood, so I just painted it white and pink and added a 39 cent "S" monogram. So simple and it will look adorable in my little girl's room. Pictures of her room are overdue, but it's not quite how I want it yet, so you'll just have to wait. :)

Project #2: A little grouping hanging on the wall in my kitchen using the plate I decorated. I'm stumped on what to put inside the frame though. Any good ideas, all you amazing crafty ladies?

a monogram, a flower, a set of mini silverware, a set of mini kitchen utensils, istockphoto has a bunch of silhouettes of people eating dinner, how about just a bolder print paper or fabric, that's all I got...

Cute wall grouping. As for the quote....my kitchen is full of dorky ones...."I have a kitchen only because it came with the house" and "Today's Specials..take it, leave it...have a nice day"
Those don't seem to fit in with your decor.

Maybe a white monogram?

I love your ideas-
as for your frame I am thinking a white doilie from garage sale or thrift store...I think it goes with your grouping and you could get one for a cheap price

How about a fern leaf pressed and dried? You could even spray paint it white.
